Friday July 25

Today is the day we present the lesson plans to the whole group. Most groups had PowerPoints to aid them in presentation. The site is:

The lessons and activities are listed under Friday.

Of the 30 people there, we now have an admirable selection of lessons from this workshop. The activities are using RTD or are about current microbes and how they affect the world.

Our week went all too fast and we made some great new friends. Some have been coming to these workshops for several years and they were glad to reconnect with old friends.

Being from all over the country, we made our way back home to our own home states. Because I am here in Oregon, and several folks were leaving for Hawaii on Saturday, i took 4 up the Gorge on Friday night. Like tourists we went to Multnomah Falls and then the Vista House. The beauty of our area is amazing. My friends were duly impressed. By the time we got to the Vista House, the sunset was a pink sky and the river to the east was just starting to fog up. It was a great way to end the workshop. I am very grateful for the opportunity to go and learn.
