Week 6 - New Temperatures?

This week was a very busy week for me!  Monday started off with mid-term presentations. It was very interesting to see what all my fellow interns have been working on these past five weeks. After presentations, Vena and I made the trip to Sharp where we completed our temperature tests.  Unfortunately, when we presented to data to Andrei on Tuesday, it was too variable to determine much from (what temperature works best for the multiple probe sensor array). It was decided that we had to re-do the data analysis, just in case we made any errors, and to also test two new temperatures, 30C and 45C. Wednesday consisted of me running the sensor arrays at the new temperatures.  Thursday was quite eventful being that it was the day of the NSF visit. I attended lunch with the site visitors and was able to speak to them one-on-one about the CMOP internship and the experience I was gaining. After lunch, I went to see Holly speak. I thought it was nice being able to see my senior scientist give a presentation. Now, I am continuing testing at the new temperatures, and next week we will start re-doing our analysis to hopefully get better results!
